On Common Fixed Points

Some fixed point theorems based on an asymptotic regularity condition have been obtained, which generalize the previously well-known results. 2000 Mathematics Subject Classification: 47H10, 54H25.

Results on Common Fixed Points

We establish common fixed point theorems related with families of selfmappings on metric spaces. Our results extend, improve, and unify the results due to Fisher (1977, 1978, 1979, 1981, 1984), Jungck (1988), and Ohta and Nikaido (1994). 2000 Mathematics Subject Classification. 47H10, 54H25.

Common Fixed Points for Fuzzy Mappings Using Generalised Altering Distances

In this paper we prove a common fixed point theorem for two fuzzy mappings defined on metric spaces. These mappings are assumed to satisfy certain contractive inequality involving functions which are generalizations of altering distance functions. We also note that this fuzzy fixed point result is derivable from a multi-valued fixed point result.

Common Fixed Points for Nonexpansive and Nonexpansive Type Fuzzy Mappings

In this paper we define g-nonexpansive and g-nonexpansive type fuzzy mappings and prove common fixed point theorems for sequences of fuzzy mappings satisfying certain conditions on a Banach space. Thus we obtain fixed point theorems for nonexpansive type multi-valued mappings.

Fixed Points Theorems with respect to \fuzzy w-distance

In this paper, we shall introduce the fuzzyw-distance, then prove a common fixed point theorem with respectto fuzzy w-distance for two mappings under the condition ofweakly compatible in complete fuzzy metric spaces.
